Please note, on farm accommodations are limited. First preference would be give to our poultry farmer in training who can commit from April through December. Sharing on-farm housing is a possibility as is an opportunity to live off farm.
As our accommodations improve, we also have winter positions available on a limited basis.We take the educational component to the farm work we have to offer very seriously and are committed to sharing our experience with potential farmers. We are also prioritizing selecting individuals in our poultry training, apprenticeship and journey person program who have a vision and drive to farm in the near future and would consider farming on land in Washington County. Increasing certified organic poultry, beef, chicken and vegetable production is a big job. We are looking to train future Washington County farmers to become an active participants in the local foods movement.
