Farm Educational Opportunities
Discover the beauty and heritage of our 200-year-old working farm.
The Land: Explore our 1600 acres with six miles of shore front, 25-foot tides, and forest trails with panoramic views. Eagles nest on nearby islands while seals bask on the ledges. Dairy cows and horses graze in surrounding pastures and haying goes on early in July. Organic produce is available throughout the seasons.

The History: Nine generations ago, a Passamaquoddy led Robert Bell to the site where he built a tidal gristmill. Lubec schooners brought in whole grains for grinding into meal and flour. One of these grist stones lies on the point in front of the farmhouse and wooden beams from the dam are still visible at low tide.
Learn What It's Like To Live on a Working Farm and Be A Farmer!
We offer a unique opportunity for home schooling families to learn about what goes on at an organic farm.
The learning experience of caring for dairy calves, participating in the milking chores, collecting eggs, settling in baby chicks, feeding and watering chickens and turkeys, playing with pigs and tending vegetable crops will create memories that will last a lifetime. Carly DelSignore and Jane Bell host many school groups and create learning tours for children of all ages. Please contact us at (207) 733-2551 or 733-4756 or email us for more details.
