Join us at the Common Ground Country Fair!

September 19th, 20th, 21st.
 in Unity, Maine.

Visit us in the Farmers Market Area to buy frozen packages of our delicious organic chicken, beef and pork. 

New this year...

        Buy a plate and treat yourself to an organic feast from Tide Mill Farm's pig roast at the Food Area of the Fair.  We will be serving a dish of roasted pork, applesause and a glass of whole raw milk from our pasture raised dairy cows.


Contact us to make arrangements for a delivery of our products. Currently we deliver to Machias, Dennysville, Perry, Pleasant Point, Eastport and Calais on Thursdays. We deliver to Whiting, Trescott and Lubec on Mondays.  We deliver to Mount Desert Island, Ellsworth, Bangor, Troy, Belfast and occassionally Newport and Dover-Foxcroft on Tuesdays and Fridays. Visit our farmstand on Tide Mill Farm.  We are open on Saturdays from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm and on Mondays from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Please visit our "Find Us" page for more information.

We are happy to be working with Jim Cook and Crown of Maine Cooperative to contribute to and participate in this local and organic food revolution to bring organic Maine grown food to our customers and communities.

It's almost balsam wreath season on Tide Mill Farm.  Stay tuned for details about how to order our fresh balsam wreaths and other balsam creations as well as our one-of-a-kind ornamental chicken feet and salamis.

Rachel Bell and Sam Furth write and perform folk rock and country songs inspired by their homeplace, Tide Mill Farm and our surrounding community.  Rachel and her family are members of the eighth and ninth generation Bells.   Visit http://www.myspace.com/rebellsongs to hear songs and for more information about r.e. bell. 

We have partnered with “Tours of Lubec and Cobscook” to offer insight into our vibrant history dating back to 1765 and our current diversified organic farming endeavors. Tours are on Wednesdays June 18th – September 10th from 2:00-4:00. Cost is $20 per person for less than 4, $15 per person for groups of 4 or more. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are half price and children under the age of 5 are free. For those of you who drink skim or lowfat milk, we have developed some information on how to use our whole milk. We have also included information about how to make yogurt.

The 1886 Tide Mill Farmhouse is available for weekly rental.
